Team RSE completes Three Peaks (24hour) Challenge
The Three Peaks Challenge is an attempt to climb the highest peaks in Scotland, England and Wales, one after the other! These peaks are the highest in their countries, being Ben Nevis in Scotland, Scafell Pike in England, and Snowdon in Wales.
On the 11th of July, three groups making up Team RSE, from RSE North, RSE South and RSE Central, climbed the three highest mountains covering a total of 26 miles and 9,843ft of vertical ascent. The team took on Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon over the course of 24-hours, climbing each peak in turn with a designated team member driving from one foot of the mountain to the next. This adventure was not just about pushing the team’s limits, but also about raising vital donations for the Highland Hospice through supporting Heather’s Heroes.
Heather’s Heroes holds a forever place in the hearts of RSE employees. Through supporting local charities, it has offered resolute support at the most trying moments to innumerable families, including many of the team’s own experiences.
RSE is extremely proud to support the challenge and of everyone that took part in the climbs, completing the challenge as a team and raising an incredible £8,920 for Heather’s Heroes!
